Our program of basic webinars covered the key areas of competition law in the UK and in the EU and the important issues you need to be aware of. These webinars are primarily aimed at participants who are new to competition law and/or who have not had specialist competition law training or extensive experience applying EU/UK competition law. The aim of the webinars is to equip in-house lawyers with the skills to spot the issues and avoid the pitfalls.

Author

Keith Jones is a partner at Baker & McKenzie´s London office. He has extensive experience in UK and EU competition law. He is a member of Baker & McKenzie’s Competition team and Competition Litigation Unit in the London office. Keith has published a number of articles on competition litigation and is co-author of the Competition Litigation, Europe.

James Robinson is an associate partner in Baker Mckenzie's London. Mr. Robinson has extensive experience advising clients in all aspects of cartel investigations, including audits and risk assessments, supporting clients during EU and UK dawn raids, immunity and leniency applications to the European Commission and CMA, engaging in settlements with the European Commission, defending contested cases before the authorities, and undertaking appeals to the General Court and Court of Justice.

Francesca Richmond is a partner in the Baker McKenzie Dispute Resolution team based in London. Francesca joined Baker McKenzie in 2004 and was admitted as a solicitor in September 2006. She attained higher rights of audience to act as a solicitor-advocate in 2009. Francesca has been seconded to Baker McKenzie's offices in Chicago, Washington and Sydney as well as to clients Barclays Bank PLC, the BBC Trust and O2. Francesca was a marshall at the Royal Courts of Justice in 1998 and in 2000 sitting with a High Court judge.
