In brief
New workplace health and safety obligations have been introduced in Poland.
Issue: Employees must cover their mouth and nose (e.g., with masks) at the workplace if there is more than one person in the room. The exception, which allowed persons carrying out a professional activity other than direct service of customers or clients to avoid this duty, has been repealed.
Entry into force: 28 November 2020
Recommended actions: Analyze internal procedures on the performance of work in the workplace and anti-COVID policies.
