Mr. Arievich is a member of the European National TMO Relations Subcommittee of the Trademark Office Practices Committee of the International Trademark Association. From 2001 to 2003, he served on the INTA Board of Directors. He is the chairman of the IP Committee of the Association of European Businesses (AEB). Mr. Arievich is also a member of ECTA, MARQUES, PTMG, FICPI and the Russia Patent Attorneys Association where he serves on the board.
Denis Khabarov is highly recommended in the field of intellectual property by European Legal 500 – 2008, and has been recognized by European Legal Experts 2008 in the area of dispute resolution. He joined Baker McKenzie in 2001 and became partner in 2007. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Khabarov was an in-house attorney for the Moscow Companies Registration Authority, where he was in charge of the litigation practice. He currently serves as a member of the Moscow City Bar, the International Trademark Association (INTA) and International Anti-counterfeiting Coalition (IACC). Mr. Khabarov graduated from the Law Faculty of the Russian Peoples’ Friendship University in 2000, and was admitted to practice law in Russia in 2000.
Margarita Divina practices mainly in the area of intellectual property law. A graduate (with honors) of the Moscow State University, Ms. Divina is admitted to practice in Russia since 1999 and also is a trademark attorney registered to practice before the Russian Patent and Trademark Office. She is a member of the International Trademark Association and the Association of European Businesses. Alexey Frolov mainly handles natural resources transactions, including those pertaining to the oil & gas and mining industry. Alexey Trusov practices in the areas of corporate, M&A and pharmaceutical and healthcare. He graduated from St. Petersburg State University’s School of Law in 1997 and received his LL.M. from Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1998. He received his degree of Candidate of Science from St. Petersburg State University’s School of Law in 2002. He was admitted to the Russian bar in 1997, and currently serves as co-chair of the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Legal Committee.
Paul Melling is an English solicitor, founding partner of Baker McKenzie’s Moscow and Almaty offices, and founder of the CIS offices’ pharmaceuticals and healthcare practice. He leads the CIS offices’ Compliance Practice Group and is a steering committee member of the Europe Compliance and Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare groups. He joined the London office in 1980 as a member of the East-West Trade Department, focusing on the COMECON countries of Eastern Europe, particularly the former USSR. He moved to Moscow in January 1989 and has spent over 24 years as a partner in the CIS. In 2009, he received the AIPM’s Distinguished Service Award for his contribution to the development of the Russian pharmaceuticals market.
Elena Kukushkina is a counsel and coordinator in Baker Mckenzie's Moscow office. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, she worked at another leading global law firm.
