On Monday, 26 July, the Ukrainian president enacted a decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), which imposed economic sanctions against six individuals and ten entities, including three non-profit organizations related to the self-proclaimed Donetsk Peopleās Republic.
Among the companies subject to sanctions is the Russian e-tailer Wildberries, as well as its divisions in other states including Ukraine, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Poland.
The sanctions list also contains non-profit organizations that, although French-registered, represent the interests of Russian occupation forces in Donbas and the Russian occupation administration of the Crimean peninsula. These include:
- the NGO āOfficial Representative Center of the Donetsk Peopleās Republic in Franceā
- the NGO āAssociation of the Representation of the Donetsk Peopleās Republic in Franceā
- the NGO āFrance-Crimea Associationā
The decision contains provisions on freezing assets; restrictions on withdrawing capital from Ukraine; suspension of performing economic and financial obligations; termination of the provision of telecommunication services and the use of public telecommunication networks; prohibition of technology transfers and rights to intellectual property rights; and a number of other restrictive measures.
The names of the newly listed individuals are:
- ŠŠ°kŠ°lchuk Š¢Š°ŃianŠ° (co-founder of Wildberries)
- ŠŠ°kŠ°lchuk VlŠ°dislŠ°v (co-founder of Wildberries)
- RŠµviashko Andrei (co-founder of Wildberries)
- Kuzmenko Aleksei (co-founder of Wildberries)
- Fayard GĆ©rald-Hubert (founder of the NGO āOfficial Representative Center of the Donetsk Peopleās Republic in Franceā)
- Neant Christel (employee of the International Press Center Doni)
