Kim Hock Ang is a principal in Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow's Finance & Projects Team, where he focuses on major infrastructure project development and energy projects development (including LNG), from the inception stage where the consortium is formed and investment structure is designed, to the project documentation, financing and sale of such brownfield asset post commercial operation date. Kim Hock has acted in several award-winning projects such as the Sarulla Geothermal Power Project. It is the largest single-contract geothermal power project in the world, and it won Finance Deal of the Year (Project) at the 2015 American Lawyer Asia Legal Awards, among other accolades.

Martin David is a principal in the Finance and Projects Practice Group at Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow and heads the Projects practice in Asia Pacific and Singapore. He is a former civil engineer and has market-leading experience in relation to greenfield IPPs in Asia, particularly in the renewables sector (wind and geothermal).

Naoaki Eguchi is a partner of the Banking & Finance Group and a co-head of the Firm's Renewable and Clean Energy Group in Tokyo. He has been recognized for his work on Goldman Sachs' TOB of Universal Studios Japan, which was named the Debt Market Deal of the Year at the 2010 ALB Law Awards and on Fukushima Soma LNG power project finance of 1180 MW with USD 1.2 billon, which was named the Projects, Energy and Infrastructure Deal of the Year at the 2018 ALB Law Award. Naoaki has advised many foreign companies investing in Japan, especially renewable companies these days.

Clyde E. Rankin, III is a member of the Firm's North America Transactional Practice Group based in the New York office and is Chair of the North America Projects Practice. Mr. Rankin is fluent in French. He has been named one of the Best Lawyers in America from 2006 - 2021 and is highlighted in Legal 500 US 2010, 2011, 2015 and 2017-2021 for his work as an advisor to sponsors in project finance and renewable energy. He has also been named a New York Metro Super Lawyer from 2014-2021. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie in 2005, Mr. Rankin served as the ninth chairman of Coudert Brothers LLP.

Graham Richmond is a Senior Associate in Baker & McKenzie's Global Energy, Mining and Infrastructure Industry Group and Projects Practice Group, based in London. Graham has more than 10 years' experience working on construction, project development and finance and related commercial arrangements and secondary transactions across the EMEA region and globally.

Masahiro Tanabe is a member of the Projects Group in the Firm's Tokyo office. He has over 15 years of legal experience in Japan and overseas. He is admitted to practice law in both Japan and New York. He was raised in the United States and is fluent in English.

Ines Vazquez is a partner in Estudio Echecopar. Prior to joining the Firm, she was the head of Latin America Power's Legal Department for two years, during which she gained wide experience and was exposed to transactions in multiple jurisdictions. She has worked on privatization and concession procedures in the electric power sector for private clients, as well as in bidding processes of public services concessions in general. She also has a solid background in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, financing, and has participated in several acquisition transactions and sale of companies, assets and shares participations, including mergers, spin-offs, reorganizations and other structures, both domestic and international. Additionally, Ines has contentious and non-contentious construction practice based on domestic and international arbitration, advising both private and state owned companies.

Kieran Whyte is a partner in the Baker McKenzie's Johannesburg office. He has over 25 years' experience working in South Africa and Africa, with particular focus on energy and infrastructure projects. Kieran represents project sponsors, developers, contractors and lenders in complex greenfield and brownfield developments, advising on citing, permitting and regulatory concerns. He has advised on numerous first-in-kind projects associated with the South African government's Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Procurement Programme. Kieran is experienced in all aspects of project development and is recognized in his field by legal directories including Chambers and Legal 500.
