Tax and Legal Breakfasts: Employment

In economic and geopolitical uncertain times, many companies have started to restructure their organization, either because they already face or anticipate potential financial losses or put the focus on profitability post the COVID-19 crisis. While the battle for talent remains on the corporate agenda, organizations are no longer keen on retaining unmotivated or underperforming staff or redundant positions and wonder how to manage costs in the face of tough economic times.

As we have noticed an increasing demand in assistance on employee departures, including through dismissals, we would like to invite you to our breakfast seminar on termination rules under Luxembourg law.

The purpose of the seminar is to give our clients the keys to better apprehend and manage dismissal cases under Luxembourg law. During the seminar, we will cover the traditional questions of the types of dismissal and explain how to build up and manage a case. Furthermore, in a context where employers have difficulties in exercising their power of control over employees working remotely, where harassment claims constantly increase and where employers fear abusive whistleblowing procedures, we will also explain what measures could be implemented or course of action, such as dismissal, taken.

We intend the seminar to be pragmatic and solution oriented. As we believe that intimate events permit more constructive exchanges, we have deliberately limited the number of participants to the seminar, which will take the form of a roundtable where all your questions will be addressed and where the experience of all participants can be shared.

Therefore, we would be grateful if you could honor us with your presence.
