After the Conference on Emerging Biotechnology held on 14 November 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched a round table for the internationalization of the biotechnology sector, which met for the first time on 9 January 2024.

The round table consists of members of various institutions, including representatives of the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, the Ministry of University and Research and the Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies, and delegates from research organization, companies, industry associations and the financial world.
