Law No. 31745 has been published, amending Article 11 of Legislative Decree 1107, which regulates the responsibility of the purchaser of mining products to verify the origin of such products, establishing the documents to be requested, as well as the actions to be taken for this purpose.


In depth

By means of the referenced amendment, the obligation of the acquirer of mineral products to verify that the Integral Mining Formalization Registry (REINFO) of the transferer of such products is in force has been incorporated.

This obligation is applicable if the transferor of the mineral products is an informal miner in the process of formalization.
