Minh Tri Quach

Minh Tri Quach is a partner based in the Firm's Hanoi office. He is admitted as a lawyer in Vietnam and licensed to act as an IP agent before the Vietnam National Office of Intellectual Property. His practice focuses on anti-counterfeiting, anti-piracy, commercial intellectual property agreements, the entertainment industry, data privacy, internet, dispute resolution and litigation. He has written articles, presented at seminars, and lectured to students on various legal issues in Vietnam.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has recently published the draft law on Protection of Consumers’ Rights. The Draft Law includes a number of proposed changes to the existing product liability and consumer protection framework. If adopted, the Draft Law may have major impacts on the business of companies whose products are produced or sold in Vietnam complying with new requirements under the Draft Law. The MOIT is gathering public comments on the Draft Law until 10 March 2022.
