The National Agency of Medicines, Food and Medical Technology (ANMAT) issued Disposition No. 6924/2022on 30 August 2022. The same provides some clarifications regarding the advertising, promotion and/or sponsorship of packaged food and nonalcoholic beverages containing at least one warning seal, including precautionary legends. The Disposition will take effect on the same day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
One of the main commitments assumed by Beatriz de Anchorena, current director of the Agency for Access to Public Information, was to initiate the process of updating Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326, which was enacted in 2000. By means of Resolution 464/2022 published on the Official Gazette on 27 May 2022, the domestic trade secretariat approved the form that suppliers must submit to alert consumers and competent authorities and recall products from the market. It also establishes certain obligations that suppliers that have initiated this type of process must comply with.
Resolution No. 570/2022 , issued by the National Communications Authority, was published in the Official Gazette on 31 March 2022. The Resolution establishes that news signals that are mandatory for the subscription of television services must include additional visual communication media that uses sign language and closed captioning.
On 4 January 2022, Disposition No. 1/22 issued by the National Registry of Persons (Renaper) was published in the Official Gazette, approving Renaper’s Personal Data Protection Policy (“Policy”). The Policy aims to safeguard and protect the right to privacy of individuals whose data is processed by Renaper.
