Philipp Maier joined Baker McKenzie Diwok Hermann Petsche Rechtsanwälte LLP & Co KG in 2009 as associate of the employment law practice group. Prior to that Philipp worked for several years in the employment law department of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and in the litigation department of Wolf Theiss Rechtsanwälte. He also completed an internship at Aichelin Heat Treatment Systems (Detroit, USA).

Simone Liebmann-Slatin joined Baker McKenzie in 2003 and is a member of the employment law practice group. Since 2011, Ms. Liebmann- Slatin is a senior counsel in the Vienna office. Alexander Petsche heads the Litigation and Arbitration Practice Group at Baker & McKenzie Diwok Hermann Petsche Rechtsanwälte LLP & Co KG in Vienna. He worked with Bruckhaus Westrick Heller Löber as a trainee lawyer before transferring to Wolf Theiss, where he practiced until 2004. Alexander also has experience working for Draxler & Partner from 1997 to 1998. In addition to his practice, Alexander regularly lectures on professional negotiations at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. He has authored about 80 publications.

He frequently handles international arbitration cases related to Southeastern Europe and is recognized by Chambers Europe and Chambers Global as a leading lawyer for dispute resolution in Central & Eastern Europe. He is the Co-Chair of the Young Austrian Arbitration Practitioners (YAAP) and executive committee member of the International Section of the New York State Bar Association.

Prior to joining the Vienna office in 2015, he served as chair for the department of tax law at the University of Salzburg and as a lawyer in a leading Austrian law firm, in leading CEE law firms, and a Big Four professional services firm. In addition to his practice Prof. Dr. Urtz frequently publishes articles in professional journals as well as newspapers.

He advises lenders, borrowers and sponsors with respect to all types of financing transactions including project-, acquisition- and real estate financing. Robert started his career 2011 as a banking associate in the Vienna office of a Magic Circle firm and joined Baker McKenzie in 2019.

Dr. Lukas Feiler, SSCP, CIPP/E, has more than eight years of experience in IP/IT and is a partner and head of the IP and IT team at Baker McKenzie • Diwok Hermann Petsche Rechtsanwälte LLP & Co KG in Vienna. He is a lecturer for data protection law at the University of Vienna Law School and for IT compliance at the University of Applied Science Wiener Neustadt. Prior to joining the Firm, Lukas was an associate at the Austrian headquarter of an international law firm, vice director at the European Center for E-Commerce and Internet Law, and an intern at the European Commission, DG Information Society & Media. Having worked at IT companies in Vienna, Leeds, and New York, he has experience as a system and network administrator. In April 2014, Lukas has been named as Cyber Security Lawyer of the Year for Austria in the 2014 Finance Monthly Law Awards. In 2011, he received the Jus-Top-League Award from Die Presse and the Academy for Law, Taxes & Business as one of the five most promising up-and-coming lawyers.

Dr. Daniel Larcher is a senior associate and member of the Dispute Resolution team and head of the Vienna Life Sciences/Pharma practice. His focus lies on advising and representing clients with regard to commercial contracts, healthcare/pharma transactions (inclusing nutrition and cosmetics matters), as well as product liability and recalls. He is author of several publications in his specialized areas and holds seminars and workshops. He joined Baker & McKenzie • Diwok Hermann Petsche Rechtsanwälte LLP & Co KG after receiving his PhD in 2005, and has since qualified to practice in Austria.
