Zahi Younes is a partner in the UAE/Saudi Arabian Corporate and Securities Practice Group. He focuses on the areas of cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, international and domestic joint ventures, global corporate reorganizations, securities and capital markets. Zahi advises both private and public clients on the areas of cross-border and domestic mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, international and domestic joint ventures, private equity and global corporate reorganizations. He also counsels clients on initial public offerings, private placements and investment funds. Zahi has a regional geographic focus on the Middle East, particularly on the UAE and Saudi Arabian markets.

On 4 November 2020, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) announced certain labor reforms for foreign national employees working in the private sector that will come into effect on 14 March 2021. Since the initial announcement, the MHRSD (in coordination with the National Transformation Program and National Information Center) announced the conditions in order to benefit from each of the initiatives.
