Alexandra is a senior associate in the EU, Competition & Trade department in the Firm’s London office. She joined the Firm as a trainee in March 2011 and qualified in March 2013. Since 2014, Alexandra has focused solely on inbound and outbound trade compliance matters. In 2016/17, she completed a nine-month sanctions-focused secondment to a FTSE 100 FMCG company. Alexandra is a member of the Firm’s Customs, International Trade and Compliance & Investigations Practice Groups, which are ranked Tier 1 by Legal 500 UK.

The Trade Specialised Committee on Customs Cooperation and Rules of Origin (the “Committee“) is scheduled to meet for the first time on Thursday 7 October. The joint EU/UK Committee was established by the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (“TCA“) with the role of monitoring and reviewing the consistency in implementation of the TCA Rules of Origin across the EU and the UK as well as related enforcement, and to provide a joint forum for discussing related technical issues.
